On Wednesday, September 9, 2020 two people were killed in a two-car crash. The crash occurred in Gaithersburg, MD. It was at approximately 6:37 p.m. onSeptember 9th. The collision occurred on Muddy Branch Road near West Deer Park Road. A Toyota Supra was headed north on Muddy Branch Road. It collided with a Honda Accord coming in the opposite direction. The Honda was turning onto West Deer Park Road.

The driver of the Supra was Stephanie Vasquez, 25, of Kensington, MD. She was dead at the scene. A passenger in her front seat also died. He was identified as Jonathan Charkas, 35, of Rockville, MD.
In addition the driver of the Honda and two passengers were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
