1977 Roll “R” Way Rinks v. Smith, 218 Va. 321, 237 S.E.2d 157.

Plaintiff injured on ramp at roller rink. Verdict for plaintiff.

1954 Charles v. Commonwealth Motors, Inc., 195 Va. 576, 79 S.E.2d 594.

Plaintiff slipped and fell on slippery ramp. She was walking on rubber mat when called over by defendant’s agent. Trial court improperly struck evidence. There was more involved than mere happening of accident or mere slippery floor also failure to warn which made for jury question.

1946 Andrews v. Chesapeake & O. Ry., 184 Va. 951, 37 S.E.2d 29.

Ramp going up to railroad car fell on plaintiff’s foot. Jury issue presented.
